Altrusa International of San Luis Obispo County presents its annual Celebration of Trees on Friday, November 16 at the Monarch Club at Trilogy.  The holiday dinner will feature a raffle of beautifully decorated christmas trees and wreaths.  Local businesses and residents sponsor the themed trees that are then raffled to support local literacy and community projects.  Altrusa of Cinco Ciudades is a long-time supporter of the 5Cities Homeless Coalition and we encourage you to start your holiday season at this event!  Please also share this information with your friends, by downloading a flyer here. Two sizes of trees will be raffled.  Six-foot trees valued at $300 and more and four-foot trees valued at $150 and more are available, along with wreaths valued at $75. A silent auction will also be part of the festivities. Tickets, available for $65, include dinner and dessert.  Additionally there will be a cash bar.  You can even bring your own wine to the event for a small corkage fee of $20.
