HAVE DINNER FOR A CAUSE TONIGHT ON “GIVING TUESDAY”  Fin’s Seafood Restaurant in Grover Beach is hosting a "Dinner for a Cause" tonight to support homeless families in the South County.  In the spirit of "Giving Tuesday" Fin's is donating 100 percent of proceeds to 5Cities Homeless Coalition. Southern California Gas kicked-off the spirit of "Giving Tuesday" this morning with a $1,000 donation in support of the event.  We are most grateful to everyone who will join us on this "Giving Tuesday." Everyone's support will help change lives for homeless families in the South County. Tonight's “Dinner for a Cause,” from 5 to 9 p.m. features great food and live music with Big Arroyo! The menu includes fish, shrimp, fish tacos, tri-tip or vegetarian option with chips or coleslaw for a minimum donation of $25 (non-alcoholic drink included), with beer, wine available for $5 and cocktails for $10. Take-out will be available as well! Pre-sale tickets are now available online or can be bought at the door! “No child should have to endure the indignity of searching the garbage for his or her next meal,” said Fin’s owner Bruce VanVort, who feels that helping the community is simply the right thing to do. “It’s about people doing something for others. It brings charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world together to celebrate generosity and to give, and this year we are bringing it home with "Give SLO." This evening is a fundraiser created to allow 5Cities Homeless Coalition to fully support the crucial needs of children, youth, and families impacted by homelessness in Southern San Luis Obispo County.
