Harvesting-Hope-Festival-Website-Widget Eventbrite - Harvesting Hope Festival You may purchase your tickets at the door or by clicking the ticket button at left  for the 2nd Annual Harvesting Hope Festival  happening this Sunday, October 27 in Nipomo at Trilogy at Monarch Dunes Clubhouse, 1645 Trilogy Parkway. The Harvesting Hope Festival is a celebration of locally handcrafted art, food and wines. Produced by the Trilogy Service Club, the event showcases the works of local artists, wineries and the residents of Trilogy at Monarch Dunes. The event is a fundraising benefit with all proceeds benefiting the 5Cities Homeless Coalition. Come any time between Noon and 4:00 p.m. to enjoy a simple meal of hearty homemade soups in handcrafted bowls with bread. For a $25 donation you choose a handcrafted bowl made by members of the Trilogy Service Club. Enjoy the meal, keep the bowl and know you have helped to make a difference. Stroll the grounds to enjoy great music by Pacific Swing and Harpist Toni Destro, sample local wines and peruse the works of local artists. Local wineries offering tastings for a $10 donation include Calcareous, C Nagy, Kenneth Volk, Riverbench, Sinor-Lavallee, Toucan Wines, and Wines for Humanity. Local artists that will be on site displaying their works include Margareta Lund: jewelry, Melissa Campbell: glass, Karen Bottom: confections, nuts, Lorri Trogdon: watercolor, acrylic, tiles, glassware, Karen Floyd: ceramics, dichroic glass, pastels, acrylic; Stephany Andrews: Chinese brush painting, dyes on silk, Bonnie Werring and Dorothy Rose: fused glass, jewelry, frames, Marilyn Dover Benson, acrylic, Cindy Moreno, Tink Landers and Jan Dungan: oil, acrylic, cards, ceramics, Melody Alcala and Gregg Wolff: ceramics, Janet Payne: watercolor, Minnie Anderson: graphite, acrylic, Lisa Baker: watercolor, Walter & Rochelle Hoylman: ceramics, Agape Street Art by Eli: flower pots, art, Edward Kuhn: wood and cork, LaVaun Ward: wood and corian, Julie Grimes: olive oil body products, prints, table screens, author Catherine Kitcho: books, and Leslie Hunstad: bronze jewelry. Purchasing tickets online at www.5chc.org/archive involves a small admin fee on top of the $25 donation.
