Warming Center Activation
The 5Cities Homeless Coalition opens the South County Warming Center to provide a safe, warm, and dry place for adults during severe winter weather. We activate on nights when temperatures are expected to reach 38°F or below, or when there is a 50% or greater chance of rain.
Our commitment is to help keep our neighbors safe when the weather puts them at risk.
